One of my favorite things when I buy a home near the disc golf course in Carmichael is I have the perfect place to practice after a long day of work. There are a few different open fields as well in case you aren’t ready to throw at the chains.

The course itself is only 9 holes, and they are mostly pretty short. A very experienced player will feel like an ace is possible on a few holes. There are some signs to mark the tee boxes but there aren’t any maps on the signs themselves. The park does provides a paper map on the first hole where you can see the layout of the course and the hole placement. For me, this was a huge bonus. Even if it is on a regular sheet of paper, any avid disc golfer will tell you most courses do not have a printed map available. Normally on courses you need to bring a buddy who knows the course or make some new friends with the other golfers so you play the holes in sequential order.
